The Croatia Chapter
Crystal- clear turquoise waters, charming coastal towns, breathtaking sunsets, and little streets full of history. From island hopping in Hvar to exploring the beauty of Dubrovnik, Croatia felt like a dream we didn't want to wake up from.

Dubrovnik
Whether you are a Game of Thrones fan or not, the beauty of Dubrovnik is enchanting. Cobblestone streets, terracotta roof tops, and views of the Adriatic Sea will leave you wanting to extend your stay.
Travel tips: Eat outside of the Old Town for cheaper meals and shopping.
Try Burek- a flaky layered pastry filled with meat or cheese. Makes for a cheap quick snack or breakfast!

Hvar
Hvar will always have a piece of my heart. Its lively town is nestled between the Pakleni Islands with beach clubs, snorkeling, and lush greenery brining the town to life. We stayed here for 2 nights but definitely could have stayed for much longer. We loved exploring the coast, spending the day at the beach, and getting lost in the streets at night.
Travel Tip: This can quickly become an expensive trip in itself. Stop at the local grocery store, pick up some lunchmeat and chips and have yourself a picnic on the beach instead of dining on the water.

Getting Around and Honest Prices
From the airport in Dubrovnik, you can either Uber or take a taxi to where you are staying. Old Town is about a 30 minute drive from the airport and about a 10 minute drive from the Port of Dubrovnik. If you are wanting to go to Hvar, make sure you have at least 2 nights to spend there. You will need to take a ferry and it's about a 3 hour ferry ride. Book your ferry in advance on Directferries.com the TP Line will take you there. The ferry times are limited so make sure you check it out the day before traveling. It is not cheap and costs around 130 Euros per person.
