More About Nice

We spent our last day in France exploring Nice. We wanted to stay close to the airport before our flight back in the morning. We really wish we had more than one day but we know we will be back through!

Old Town

Vieux Nice has an interesting mix of Italian/Savoyard history, which is a big part of what makes the city unique.

Place Massena is a huge elegant square with red and white buildings, black and white tiled pavement, and big fountains.

Stroll through local markets

Buy local souvenirs from market vendors and visit some huge stores! We bought local soaps and French Riviera tote bag and visited the Nespresso store which was massive!

Pebble Beaches

Beaches and Views

The Promenade des Anglais is a long palm tree-lined walkway along the bright blue Mediterranean.

Explore Castle Hill for the best panoramic views of the city and coastline.

The beaches there are pebble which was actually really cool to see! If you are planning a beach day here I would bring a mat of chair to sit/ lay on. (:
